Nurse Refresher Courses for RNs and LPNs

Our State Board of Nursing approved Nurse Refresher Courses are online, independent study courses designed with your needs in mind. Flexible formats allow you to update your nursing knowledge and skills while working within your busy schedule to get your license reinstated. No travel required!

Scholarship Opportunity

If you live on the Western Slope of Colorado* or in Weld County, you may be eligible for a Scholarship covering up to 100% of your tuition in any of our courses. Funds are limited, so apply now!

*Western Slope Counties: Archuleta, Delta, Dolores, Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Jackson, Lake, La Plata, Mesa, Moffat, Montezuma, Montrose, Ouray, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt, San Juan, San Miguel or Summit

Kaiser Smoky Hill Clinic was very good to me in getting the last 60 hours of clinical experience. It was a miracle that I was able to get a site six blocks from where I live. For Registered Nurses whose licenses have been inactive or expired for 5+ years. (Colorado)

Tuition Cost: $3350

RN Refresher Lite Course

For Registered Nurses looking to improve their skills or whose licenses have been inactive or expired for 2-5 years. (Colorado)
If your license is for a state other than Colorado, check with your State Board of Nursing for their requirements.

Tuition Cost: $1100

Contact hours awarded after successful course completion of RN Refresher Lite Course.

Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Refresher Courses

For Licensed Practical Nurses whose licenses are inactive or expired for 5+ years. (Colorado)

LPN Refresher Lite Course

For Licensed Practical Nurses looking to improve their skills or whose licenses have been inactive or expired for 2-5 years. (Colorado)

Virtually Simulated Clinicals are Board of Nursing approved to replace in person clinicals for eligible students.

Tuition Cost: $345
